Every season, almost 20,000 students from schools in and around the Baltimore are attend concerts at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall during our Midweek Education Concerts.  In addition, many more attend Open Rehearsals where the students get to take a peek at what goes into getting a symphony orchestra ready for a concert.  We need volunteer ushers to assist in the seating of our guests and to assure their safety getting off of their busses, getting into and out of the concert hall and getting them safely back on their busses for the return trip home.  It is a VERY rewarding experience.  Many have never been to a concert hall and many have never hear a symphony orchestra. The eyes light up, their mouths fly open and the joy in their faces is sometimes a bit over-powering!  Come and join us by assisting as an usher.
